Collaborations and disease surveillance work focuses primarily on free-ranging species found across North America. Some examples of recent field work includes:

  • Shiras moose (Alces alces shirasi)

  • Rocky Moutain Elk (Cervus canadensis nelsoni)

  • Sandhill crane (Grus canadensis)

  • Swift fox (Vulpes velox)

  • Lesser prairie chicken (Tympanuchus pallidicinctus)

  • Greater sage-grouse (Centrocercus urophasianus)
